The Ever-Changing View

Pixabay.com

Locked within city walls
the secrets to enlightenment

Can you find the key to unlock
the mysteries of life?

Look into the kaleidoscope an
ever-changing view..and you
will see, an i/eye looking towards
a blue sky

A new age spirituality takes form
we need only open the door to
travel the streets of
our minds...

  1. The secret to finding the way out, is finding the way in.
There are many streets in the city of us, and many places we have yet to explore - or take in. Keep turning the kaleidoscope. The view will change soon enough.

    1. The secret is internal and external as change is a part of life. I will always keep turning taking in the patterns of wonderment.

  2. I don't think we can unlock the mysteries of life...it is always changing. Love opening the doors and discovering new things ~ Thanks for joining us ~

    1. We may not unlock the mysteries of life, but we might unlock another door of understanding/perception. I enjoyed the prompt.

  3. Yours fits the image very well.
We'll never unlock all the mysteries. Not here, anyway.

    1. I guess we just don't know the right combination, perhaps we need a special key to unlock the first door.

  4. I love the "i/eye looking towards a blue sky"......beautiful. I walked a grey beach this afternoon with wild white-tipped waves. Gorgeous.

  5. To add my two penn'orth to the discussion, I'm sure we'll never know everything, but what we can reach is an acceptance of what we need to know to be in balance with the world, the universe and ourselves. Thought-provoking poem :)

  8. I agree that we need only open the door. The door may be hard to identify.

  9. So many streets to go down, but then getting lost can bring the fun. As long as it stays in our mind and not out in some sketchy place lol

  10. "open the door to travel the streets of the mind" What a wonderful phrase. There is a mystery in this piece of street art...the ever -seeing eye....the fishtail/nautilus/hair/snake off to the right...are we but parts of the ocean only walking upon the earth? I've always loved the image of a kaleidoscope and it fits so well with this image. Your idea of looking within to discover....a wise adage indeed. Thanks so much for participating in the prompt!

    1. It was a fun prompt! I noticed what I perceived as a blue river flowing from her head. Well, our human bodies consist of water, so I would say we are connected to the moon and tides. I chose to focus on the eye chakra as it speaks to me. The whole is an amazing piece of visual art!

      Thank you!
